My Personal Health Tips

When I was young, I was not a very healthy child. I suffered from a long list of food allergies and was severely asthmatic. Every day was a battle to stay healthy, so I developed a resilient personality which allowed me to get through some difficult hospital experiences. I ended up in the hospital five times for my deadly peanut allergy, and every time I walked out, I thanked God for having once again spared my life.

As I got older, my intuitions guided me to the right holistic therapists and medicine. I tried different paths to see what was best for me. Along the way, I realized how complex our bodies are and how we should choose an alternative healing path because it is more global and offers deeper healing tools than traditional paths.

I want to share with you my personal health tips and hope they will encourage you to experiment and find your own magical health formula!

Go to nature every day

We live in a world that bombards us with electromagnectic fields from cell phones, cell phone towers, computers, televisions, WiFi, etc. More and more scientific research is coming out proving that exposure to cell phones could cause cancer. Our body’s energy field is constantly fighting to maintain its natural vibration and to help it, we must go to nature to ground ourselves. When we are grounded, we are much happier, healthier and vibrant people. Nature has powerful free medicine, we just need to make time to connect with her every day. I go to nature at least thirty minutes per day and have found that my health is much better after a session in nature.

Try a gluten-free organic diet

I began to eat organic at the age of ten years old. My parents were visionaries who knew how food chemicals can destroy our bodies over time. I have made it one of my missions to educate people around me about the importance of eating food which has no pesticides or herbicides. Also I don’t eat gluten because I discovered I had severe reactions to it several years ago, despite the fact that medical tests did not prove my gluten intolerance. I had intense headaches, bloating, fatigue and neck pains. When I cut gluten from my diet, all my pain vanished and it has not returned since. It isn’t always easy following this diet but it is rewarding on all levels. I urge you to try it for one month and observe the transformations in your body and mind!

Let your emotions out

In my Medical Qi Gong classes, we learn that emotions can be destructive to our bodies. When they are repressed or not properly expressed, they can reek havoc on our organs. For example, if you bottle up your anger for a long time, it can damage your liver. If you do not express your sadness, it can create major problems in your lungs. If you worry constantly, your spleen will be dysfunctional and so will your digestion. I encourage you to speak your truth and not repress or bottle up your emotions. It takes practice and patience but it will make your life a whole lot better.

Tai Chi and Qi Gong

When I discovered Tai Chi and Qi Gong many years ago, I saw a huge change in my health. After a few weeks of training, I had better sleep, better digestion, more energy, more libido, less mental activity, more inspiration and the list goes on! I cannot go a day without my one-hour training routine in nature or in my living room. Tai Chi brings balance to our minds, bodies and spirits and is for all ages, not just the elderly. It is also the best preventive medicine I have discovered so far. My teacher Claude says that if we practice just 20 minutes per day, our lives will take a drastic turn for the better.

Energy work

I was lucky to find a trustworthy, competent and meticulous energy teacher many years ago who helped me out of a dark period. I quickly became her student and years later, now offer Reiki and Energy Medicine to anyone who needs a good rebooting. Our energy bodies accumulate what are known as “parasites”, and if these parasites are not removed, they can seriously drain our vital energy and affect our health. It is crucial to clean our energy field regularly to maintain a strong physical health.

I believe our health is the most important aspect of our life. If we are sick, everything else fades away in the distance. In order to harvest all the beauty life has to offer, we must make time to find the right health formula for us and have a healthy routine every day.
